Exchange programs are an integral component of Vietnam National University of Agriculture’s (VNUA) internationalization strategy, underscoring its mission to foster global engagement, academic collaboration, and intercultural competence in the context of agricultural sciences and sustainable rural development. By providing students with opportunities to study, research, and train at partner institutions abroad, these programs broaden educational horizons and strengthen the capacity of graduates to address pressing challenges in agriculture, food security, climate change, and rural transformation within both national and international contexts.
VNUA has built a dynamic network of cooperation with more than 100 universities, research institutes, and international organizations across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond. Through these partnerships, students are offered diverse mobility opportunities, including semester- and year-long study abroad programs, summer schools, research internships, and field-based training. Academic credits earned abroad are fully recognized, ensuring continuity in students’ academic progress while maximizing the benefits of international exposure.
In addition to enhancing academic knowledge, VNUA’s exchange programs cultivate essential skills for future agricultural leaders and innovators. AIMS PROGRAM FOR EXCHANGE STUDENT
To ensure international students have the best experience at VNUA, we offer a wide range of proactive support services and activities. Staff of the International Cooperation Office will assist you prior to departure (selection of training program, visa application, accommodation reservation, etc.), upon arrival to Vietnam (airport pick up), during your study, and on completion (academic record, certificate of completion). We encourage you to get involved and be part of our community along with local Vietnamese students, and staff to make the most of your time in Vietnam.
There are various opportunities and activities for international students to engage with other students. The buddies of VNUA English Club are always willing to support international students during their stay in Vietnam.
